Hi! My name is Kangyang. I am a freelance guitar player and a guitar instructor. Shows, gigs, as well as studio work are some of the stuff that I do.

I've have been playing the guitar and the dizi for more than ten years. I was a guitar player and lead vocalist in the now-defunct Chinese band Zexus. Playing guitar has always been, and will always be my greatest passion.

I'm a resident guitar player and singer, performing regularly at The Ark.

I've played for singers from Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Singapore over these few years. Singers that I've worked with include Terry Lin, Phil Chang, Valen Hsu, Kit Chan, Shirley Yee, 2 Gals, Julia Peng, Stefanie Sun, Jiang Meiqi, Xiao Yaxuan, Su Rui, Tanya Chua, etc.

These are some of the albums that I've been involved with. Most of the time, I usually doing guitar arrangements and recordings. Besides playing the guitar on these albums, I did some recordings on the traditional Chinese flute in some of these albums as well.

Besides recording for albums, I do Dizi and guitar sessions for commercial jingles, such as TCS Channel 8 Theme song and 97.2FM theme music, UFM 100.3FM jingle, etc.

And once in a blue moon, I do get invited to play in TCS Channel 8 Music Happening Show.

Being a freelance guitar player, I do gigs here and there, and everywhere! My regular gigging home is at The Ark. I'm also a guitar instructor at Replugged Music.
